Anam Cara’s specialised end-of-life care facility has reached practical completion and will soon open to the public in September.
The 45-bed residential service will deliver 24-hour palliative care to people of all ages undergoing chronic or terminal illness, providing residential respite to the local community. The home like environment focuses on the care, comfort and quality of life of its residents and is a much-anticipated addition to the current services provided by Anam Cara, and a much-needed addition to Geelong’s health and wellbeing services.
Tectura Architects are pleased to see the completion of Anam Cara House and are delighted to have worked closely with the Anam Cara organisation and the head contractor AW Nicholson as well as the wider Geelong community to bring this project to life.
